2024 Camp Bliss Retreats for Veterans, Law Enforcement and People with Disabilities!
We are thrilled to share some exciting news with you! We have been very successful with our legislative pursuits for funding of Veteran Retreats and Getaways at Camp Bliss. Exciting News!
- We will not be charging a registration fees for Veteran getaways for the next two years, we have secured funding from the MDVA. For non-qualifying Veterans there will be a fee of $100 per person to attend a getaway or retreat. If you have questions about the guidelines please call Lori at (320) 281-2016.
- We will now be allowed to get reimbursement for Spouses, children, and active-duty service members!
You may come up to two retreats per year!!!! We have added many exciting retreats due to this!! A complete list of 2024 Retreats and Getaways are listed below! **Because there will not be a registration fee, you will still be required to submit the appropriate documentation, DD214 (Member 4) and Driver’s license or state ID. If a spouse is attending and has a different last name, you will be required to show proof of marriage before you are considered “registered.” Once you are, please commit fully to attending your retreat as there are limited spots for each one and if you do not show up, that is a Veteran’s spot that you have eliminated

Fishing for Men with Disabilities 2020
September 11-13, 2020
Attention all guys! Come up north and find your FISH! Join us in enjoying the outdoors before it gets too cold. This weekend will be filled with fishing, hiking, bon fires, relaxation, and time with the guys!
Cost: $75.00 for the weekend, if you bring your own PCA, there is an additional charge of $35.00. The PCA will also need to register separately for this retreat.
The fee includes: lodging, fishing/supplies, and all meals/beverages.
What to bring: clothing, medications, towels, personal water bottle and anything else you will need for the weekend. You must have your fishing license to fish.
If you are currently a consumer of Independent Lifestyles, transportation to and from Camp Bliss is offered from our Sauk Rapids location for an additional cost of $15.00.
Otherwise you are responsible for your own transportation.To Register: Fill out the registration on the back and return it with your payment to Independent Lifestyles (Attn: Anne R.) 215 N. 10 people maximum including PCA'sThe cost to send 1 person to Camp Bliss for a weekend retreat is $600, which includes lodging and all meals. Because of donations and sales from our 2019 Guns & Goods Raffle, we are able to supplement $525 per Veteran or Person with Disabilities.
