April 26-28, 2024

Come and learn new ways to socialize, improve your skills, and learn how to take great care of yourself!  This retreat welcomes anyone with any type of disability. 

The total cost for the weekend is $75, if you bring your own PCA, there’s an additional charge of $50, and the PCA will need to register separately for this retreat.

This retreat includes lodging, all meals, beverages, and class materials.

What to bring: weather appropriate clothing, medications, blanket, pillow, towels, personal water bottle and anything else you will need for the weekend. 

Transportation to and from Camp Bliss is offered from our Sauk Rapids location for an additional charge of $20. Otherwise, you are responsible for your own transportation.

Veterans welcome to our annual Turkey Hunt! All hunters are required to have a valid Minnesota turkey license and will be partnered with a volunteer caller. You will stay at Camp Bliss where all your lodging and meals are provided. We are excited to welcome you to the serene and supportive setting of Camp Bliss! Enjoy the beauty of 48 acres of incredible pine and hardwood forest in breathtaking north woods setting on three beautiful lakes! We bring families together to enjoy quality time connecting and bonding with other military families who have gone through the same experiences.  

Families will spend time enjoying a variety of fun and exciting activities and to have the opportunity to experience a place specifically designated to them! You will become part of a community of military families and make memories that last a lifetime!

There are 20 total available spots for veterans and families (children 10-18 years old only) that are on a first-come-first serve basis, we will have a waiting list. Please commit fully to attending your retreat, if you do not show up, that is a Veteran or family member’s spot that you have eliminated.

September 27-29, 2024

Join us for a fun weekend Getaway of fishing and camaraderie! It is our 3^rd Annual Guided Fishing Tournament on Leech Lake, Minnesota’s third largest lake in Walker, MN. This event will take place on Saturday, September 28^th, from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm.

This is a guided fishing tournament on Leech Lake. We will provide boats, fishing equipment, bait, and all meals! All participants must be a Veteran and be registered through Camp Bliss. There are 21 available spots for veterans that are first-come-first serve basis and we also will have a waiting list. Please commit fully to attending your retreat, if you do not show up, that is a Veteran’s spot that you have eliminated. We have limited fishing supplies, so please bring your favorite fishing rod or tip-up pole, if you do not have one, we will supply one.

$500 in prizes will be awarded! Friday night check-in, Saturday fishing, awards and bonfire and Sunday breakfast in our beautiful Lodge setting on three lakes!

This retreat will help develop coping and communication skills, enhance your resiliency skills, and empower you to live productive and fulfilling lives. Veterans will have the opportunity to have fun and experience activities in the company of other Veterans. This retreat is open to any male veteran of any age and service history.
