January 14-16, 2022

On behalf of Camp Bliss we welcome you to our first Ice Fishing Tournament!  Join us on Minnesota’s third largest lake – Leech Lake for a fun experience in Walker!  This event, weather permitting, takes place on Saturday, January 15^th, from 10:00 am -6:00 pm. We will provide fish houses, bait and lunch!  All participants must be a Veteran and registered through Camp Bliss. We have limited fishing supplies, so please bring your favorite fishing rod or tip-up pole, if you don’t have one we will supply one.  $500 in prize money will be awarded, so join us for a fun weekend of fishing and camaraderie!  Friday night check-in, Saturday fishing, awards/bonfire & Sunday breakfast in our beautiful Lodge setting on three lakes!          

Cost is $75.00 per person for the weekend and includes lodging and meals.

Ice Fishing for All with Disabilities

January 21-23, 2022

We are excited to have you join us for a weekend of fishing and rejuvenation in our beautiful up north setting!  This retreat welcomes anyone with any type of disability.  We will cover COVID topics on wellness and recovery, increase socialization, improving mental health and learn new ways to stay connected during the COVID-19 Recovery!

The total cost for the weekend is $75, if you bring your own the PCA, there’s an additional charge of $50, and the PCA will need to register separately for this retreat.

This retreat includes: lodging, all meals, beverages, class materials and fishing supplies.

What to bring: weather appropriate clothing, medications, blanket, pillow, towels, personal water bottle and anything else you will need for the weekend.  You must have your fishing license to fish.

If you are currently a consumer of Independent Lifestyles, transportation to and from Camp Bliss is offered from our Sauk Rapids location for an additional charge of $15.  Otherwise you are responsible for your own transportation.

Veterans welcome to our annual Turkey Hunt. All hunters are required to have a valid Minnesota turkey license and be partnered with a volunteer.  You will stay at Camp Bliss where all your lodging and meals are provided. June 10-12, 2022

On behalf of Camp Bliss we welcome you to our first Guided Fishing Tournament!  Join us on Minnesota’s third largest lake, Leech Lake, for a fun fishing experience in Walker, MN!  This event, will take place on Saturday, June 11^th, from 10:00 am -6:00 pm.

This is a guided fishing tournament on Leech Lake. All fishing equipment and bait is provided, including lunch.

All participants must be a Veteran and registered through Camp Bliss. There are 21 available spots for veterans that are first-come-first-serve, but we will have a waiting list.

$500 in prize money will be awarded, so join us for a fun weekend of fishing and camaraderie!  Friday night check-in, Saturday fishing, awards/bonfire & Sunday morning breakfast in our beautiful Lodge setting on three lakes!       

**You are responsible to bring your own rain gear in case of weather**
